Re: Semi truck with a Lowboy trailer build.

Well guy's ...Mid America 18 wheeler rules read that the trailer can't be longer the 13 inches over all. ( 10" is shortest trailer length ! ) The silver lowboy trailer seen in the pic's way above .. was 13 3/4 inches long! So if the goose neck was cut down by 3/4" it would have been to short to put ...

Re: Mid America Big Rig track

Speedster,

Per The Best track web site..
The Best Track Big Rig Extension is 12" long .
The normal Best Track ( setup for the cars ) from the back end of the track to the start pen is 8".
So with the big rig extension on the track you would be 20" from the back end of the track to the start gate.

Re: Is teflon dry lub compatible with graphite?

Teflon powder alone just doesn't preform or work as well as graphite lube alone dose ! Mixing the two together is only going to compromise the performance of the graphite lube. So you would be better off mixing different graphite lubes together then you would mixing the Teflon powder with graphite. ...

Re: First attempt at a ladder chassis...

I can't say for sure how Gtdhw attached the top cover to the car.
However if this is what your looking to do for your car.. maybe try using some Rc airplane hinge tape or some CA glue on type airplane hinges.
To give you the access needed under your top cover plate.

Re: New guy & Access in a Ladder/Hollow design Q.

:welcome: RacerRemy! Some like to use really thin light weight sheets of balsa woods . Or even thin light weight metals to make removable covers with small screws to attach it bottom of the car. Andy & Noah Holzer .. ah2k have a few topics here on DT .. where there covers were made out of light weig...

Re: Semi truck with a Lowboy trailer build.

Thank's Speedster! Just got back from Walmart with some small scale chain to use on holding the loader to the trailer. And speaking of the small scale chain binders and trying to make some of my own for this big rig build.. I just ran across some small scale working chain binders at kitformservices....
