Why would graphite slow down a car. I will try the wet 400 and see how that works.
I have always done a final polish of the tread with graphite, should I stop doing this has anyone done any testing to see what the differences are.

Re: Rules say all 4 wheels must touch
Yea the street car thing was a stupid remark I thought because most all cars have some form of suspension or tires with air that would help in equalizing the pressures for all 4 wheels.
Taking a copy of the email with me is a great idea.

Re: Rules say all 4 wheels must touch
I remember the first year we was in scouts and did pinewood derby. The rules clearly stated only 3 wheels must touch. I was showing my car to a couple parents and was explaining a couple things to them such as you only want 3 wheels touching and they said they wish they would have done that and afte...

Re: Rules say all 4 wheels must touch
I have been to district before but the rules was the same as our pack race so there was no worries. I am still not worried because he is relaxing this rule so I will not have to build a entire new car. Almost every car I have looked at has never been perfectly level on the ground because without som...

Rules say all 4 wheels must touch
We won 1st in our den race and 3rd in the pack race so we are going to district. I read the district rules to make sure our car is legal for the district race and the rules say all 4 wheels must touch. Our pack leader and den leaders let everyone know up front that it is a good idea to place one of ...

I have cleaned, sanded and repainted both cars that was ruined and currently have them in my powder coating oven set to 100 degree's. I am going to leave ...

Axle size vs hub diameter
Our rules state the axle can not go under .084in. My question is, is it better to have the smallest size axle or one that is just under the hub size. In other words, with all things being equal if the hub size is .092 would a axle that is .091 be a better choice or would a axle that is .084 be bette...
