Re: Nitro Dan's 2014 Line-Up

Nitro Dan,

What is the track constructed of? This looks like something we might want to try out.

Thank you,

Re: Mid America results.

I was impressed with the live video feed this year. It was a vast improvement over last year's!

Thanks Gregg for putting on a great event.

Re: Does Besttrack ever have sales?

Microwizard does offer their timers in kit form. So, you can save some money if you don't mind doing some assembly. The assembly is not hard. Its drilling some holes, screwing everything together and applying decals. http://www.microwizard.com/whatskit.html +1 Did this for our pack's new track/timer.

Someone has. He goes by GoatBoy. Not sure if he is on here, but he is on another PWD forum.

Re: Performance Tracking Software

I would like to be able to set the software up to run a certain number of runs and have it show average time. Then record what I changed to the car and run that same number of runs and have it report the average. Maybe have a separate file or database for each car that I can save and open to do more...

Times for Rank and Points for Pack

Our Pack uses GPRM 13 and I am wondering if it is possible to use times for the Rank races then for the overall Pack championship race the top 3 from each rank using points?

Thank you,

if these really are the rules and they didn't accidentally leave something out. These are really the rules. I was shocked by how generous they were too. I agree with FS about this The inspect tors have the right to disqualify those cars that do not meet these specifications or the spirit of which t...

Thoughts on these rules?

Just looking for input. They seem kind of vague to me, especially the wheel width rule and the operations not allowed for wheels and axles.

Re: Start Gate

Is this sufficient to trigger the start gate for a 3 lane Best Track? Just placed the order for a new one and want to be able to add remote start gate for Pack races.

Thank you,

Re: liability and the use of power tools at workshops

I would ask Member A to cite the specific language that says the Scout must participate hands on. I am sure that he will be unable to come up with that citation. From all that I have seen, the Scout is to participate in the building process. Now we have to define "participate." In my opini...

Re: Do the "wafer" cars always win?

So, CA glue is what superglue is, right? How did you manage to 'paint' it without having the brushes bond to the wood? Thanks for sharing this, though. Have been struggling with getting test pieces of balsa to 'seal' well for painting. So far, I've tried multiple coats of primer and spray shellac. ...
