Re: Any way to display standings calculation method more prominently?
I think that would be a nice enhancement to the software. I know I made this mistake the very first time I ran a race using GPRM. I had the setting one way on the PC I was learning the software on (tower at home) and when I installed the software on the laptop to run the race, evidently I forgot to ...

Re: Final Build for Team Birddog
We just finished the district race on Saturday and capped off the career with another district championship. It was much closer this year, which made it even more fun. 3 time district champ, 1 time district runner up and one race that wasn't timed properly. It was a good run (not to mention lots of ...

Re: car time conversion to longer track
In my experience with pack track setups, the setup of a single track can vary so widely from one setup to the next, that it is impossible to compare times from the SAME TRACK on different days. Attempting to compare times of different track TYPES would be even more difficult and lead to results that...

Re: Single lane 42' Besttrack with timer and storage box for sale
sixsec636- Even if I could find a way to box it up safely and ship it, shipping will cost north of $100 and you wouldn't get the nice wooden storage box I've made for it. For the cost of shipping you'd only save about $100 over buying new and that generally isn't enough of a savings for it to be wor...

Re: Morgan '16
I'm predicting a land slide 1st place as well. Folks who put the time in to learn and build such good cars generally trounce the rest of the entrants. I wish it were more competitive, but until you race at the Mid-America race or maybe your District Race, be prepared for a land slide victory.

Re: Buying some power tools, scroll saw, drill press, etc.
I'm going to offer up a different piece of advice. Over the years, I've purchased some very nice power tools and some cheap power tools. The cheap stuff never lasts and the good stuff lasts a life time and performs well. Of all the tools I own, I probably use my Delta drill press the most. I would s...

Re: Oil vs graphite
I keep our Mid-America cars for testing all our Pack and District track setups. Some are oil and some are graphite. I've been using them for the past 2 years or so. I think the oil cars keep more consistent times. I use the fastest cars I have to validate the track setup, as we have just one stop se...

Re: Oil vs graphite
our oil cars have always been faster than our graphite cars. I think Vitiman K did an excellent job of describing the issues.

Re: Help moving com back
If your car is 3.2oz without any weight, you need to get it as far back as possible. With a chassis weight that high, you will have a hard time getting a decent com. If you are looking for speed, you should try and cut that weight as much as you can, so you can add heavy metal in the rear of the ca...
