Re: Photos of "New Style" Piantedosi stop section?
To avoid any confusion with the link, I want to clarify that the track and stop section shown in the photos of the Bluegrass Nationals are a BestTrack. The stop lane dividers were custom made for the track. The timer is a MicroWizard. ??? The photos referred to in this thread were of a Piantedosi/M...

Re: Photos of "New Style" Piantedosi stop section?
I thought that I had seen them before, but can't find any photos of the newer style stop section that has been redesigned. Any photos or leads would be appreciated. Does this post help? (Note there's also a link to follow in the post.) To avoid any confusion with the link, I want to clarify that th...

Re: Finishing a track
You should not need to taper the leading edges of the lanes. If you are having a problem with any of the joints on your track, please give us a call so we can determine the cause of the problem.

Re: Curve in track and storage
In looking at the Best Track vs. the Micro Wizard aluminum Freedom track, we noticed that the Best Track has the curve permanently built in whereas the Micro Wizard track is built straight. It would seem like the storage would be a lot easier with the Micro Wizard without the bend. Can anyone comme...

Re: Tips on Assembling a 6-lane Best Track
Hello, Sorry you are having problems assembling your track. Give us a call and we will be glad to help you with any issues. Try sliding the sections together right side up, then lifting the joint with one hand and putting on the spring clips with the other hand as suggested in the instructions. That...

Re: Which Aluminum Track
Though, I do think that trying to assemble the track upside down and flip it over can be a pain. You need more than one person and I'm not a fan of the spring clips, which can pop off when flipping the track over. I do wish they would come up with a more secure way to keep the sections joined and t...

Re: Best or Freedom?
I was disappointed with the lane to lane variations with the Best Track. Seemed like there was no way to keep the lanes from moving up or down. Even the pack who owned the track said of the 6 lanes, there was one lane that they could not get properly aligned and the next year they would not use it....

Re: Stopping the cars
Thanks for the comments about our stop section. Graphite buildup can reduce the stopping effectiveness of the stop foam. A stiff brush or vacuuming will restore the foam to like new condition. Don't use water or any liquid cleaners, especially with soap in them as this will make the foam less effect...

Re: QUESTION ON ARCH ; BEST TRACK VS PAINTEDOSI
But the point could be made that you did produce that curve and thus it is a fair representation of a Best Track Curve that one might find out in the field. Point taken, but would it be accurate for Chevy to compare their new 2007 pickup with Ford’s 2003 pickup, because you might find one like that...

Thanks for the speedy replies..... Our 40 foot paintedosi track with factory microwizard drilled holes has a running surface length of 37 foot 6 inches from starting peg to finish line ... I'm sure you can order any running length for either track (starting peg to finish line drilled timer holes ) ...
