Re: Bamboo for inner support?

Looking good VK! Yes. The bamboo skewers add a great deal of strength even when halved or quartered. The idea is to use the grain of the wood where. Cross grain does not add much structure. Re: Which car?

I think I will race the orange one at the pack meeting for the "wow" factor and the pine one at the districts (just because I want too 8) ) If given the chance I will try to see which is faster. May have some adult competition at the pack level this year-damned Boeing engi...

After seeing Randy's Cool looking Scud Launcher for the Mid-America class b big rig race. I just can't let him have all the fun with all the wheels! ;) It was fun to build a semi truck to race in this class last year. However.. It was a press for time to get one built and sent off in time for the r...

Andy I've never used this stuff so how would I know that it takes a while day to dry Joe! ;) ...

Re: Mass-Producing Lead Weights for Scout Use?

Hi VK,

I think the best way to do it would be to spin cast the lead shapes,
But I don't like messing with lead. A colleague got poisoned one time.

Hi Whoda! Ok. Now I am truly honored. There is nothing quite like getting a compliment from a craftsmen that you admire. This is how she turned out.
