Axle strength

We just finished our derby our car ran workable. It was set as a 3wheel rail rider. I didn't understand why it ran so slow. After the races I looked at it and noticed that the axles where bent out of whack. Not exactly sure what happened from when I checked in to after the races but something happen...

Rail riding with wafers?

I'm having my first outlaw race. 7 oz car with wafer wheels. Can I railride with bent axles or do I just run straight with these wheels? If I railride, any different drift length?

I just got rules for my outlaw race. It's states that tranferring dry weights are allowed. Since this is my first outlaw I have no idea what this is or how to do it. Help? The car dimensions are the same as the kids. The only other difference is a max 8oz and no restrictions on wheels or axles. I ha...

The rules don't have many restrictions except no oil. I already ordered outlaw wheels from maximum velocity.
So you are saying that I shouldn't go to 8oz, stay around 6?

8oz outlaw weight placement?

This year my sons pack is having a dads outlaw race. Same rules except for wheels and weights (8oz). I ordered outlaw wheels and axles, but was think about the weight placement. In a typical car,about 2 1/2 to 3 oz in rear. I can't see putting 5oz in the rear, would probably be slower in the bottom ...
