Re: How to run a Raingutter Regatta? Help for the first time

Hello: Just got done doing our regatta this weekend. I was the race director and I am the one who built the race gutters. I will have some pictures later this week. However, I can not post them because I do not have place to park them. I will be happy to email them if you will contact me directly. I...

Re: Where to get engraving done?

Brother, I have your solution. I found a local engraving place that made me plates for $1.25 each. Additionally, I purchased clear plastic boxes for our trophies. The kind that you put NASCAR models in. The plates came from R & W Sales and Trophies, Wayne and Rita Wooten [rwwooten@greenapple.com...

Its too much to just donate. I am going to offer it to them after my term is done but they will need to start fund raising n...

How to sell and ship a 6 lane track?

I am planning ahead. I am currently building a 6 lane track and in a few years, of my son being in CubScouts, I plan to then sell the track. Ebay? or other suggestion. Shipping: It consists of 6 6' sections that are 24" wide and a 4' finishing line area that is bulky. Does anyone know how to sh...

New race official. How do I run the race and eliminations?

I am new to the raingutter regatta but guess who got volunteered to be the coordinator...me. What I need to know is how to handle running the race to be as fair as possible when you have an odd number of racers? Single elimination would be easy but then everbody only races once and you will have a &...
