Someone mentioned drawing lines in word or some other computer program then bending them the desired amount and printing. You could then hold the axel up to the image to compare. There is also an axel bender sold by some of the derby sites, but that only gives you the option of 1.5 or 2.5.

Last year at our district race which had over 200 cars there was a car in the top 5 (may have been top 3 can't remember) that used lead. It looked like they cut out the bottom of the car and poured molton lead into it. Not sure if that is what they did, but you could tell the lead was melted down an...

I ordered some from a place that sells it for fishing reels. I may end up having to cancel the order because they do not have it in stock right now.

Me and my son added some epoxy to make sure the weight does not move then covered with some wood putty. Going to let dry overnight the sand and add more tomorrow.
