It is easier of course to install Sunlight Max when first building, since to retrofit means tearing up everything inside the Judge and rebuilding. I have some Beta Craft here. The pin size is .125". You could cut up a 1/8" welding rod, (available at tool rental stores) and do a little touch up chamfering with a file. A roofing nail will also work.

I don't recommend micro switches, and supply only magnetic switches with my equipment. Micro switches are not hermetic allowing H2O and O2 to enter. Internally, the BeCu contacts start out bright orange, but slowly turn brown, then black and finally become unworkable for switching very low currents....

The shell is the same size, but the VGA has three rows of female contacts totaling 15, whereas the serial port has two rows of male contacts totaling 9. The VGA is known as a high density connector, the serial is standard density.

A serial interface on a PC is male, 9 pin. You might be looking at a different type of connector.
