I know there is a post on here were they have a link to you tube ............a guys cars does a flip do to light front end....I believe the consensus was you need about 1/2 to 3/4 of a once on the front end to keep it from flipping

In the past I have had cars that turn IMO to hard in a short amount of time so we have taken an flip flop the rear nails and wheels and that has seem to help us out

Psycaz & sdupont1 your both right the way that rule is supposed to be measured is from inside wheel-to-wheel clearance of at least 1-3/4

I agree rlaton it sounds like he shaved the 1/16 off the front..But I now the rules state the car has a 1 3/4 inch wheel spacing I think this is what he is worried about and trying to keep the front wheel from moving in and I don't think the way it sound that the tape will work as a bushing

Nitro Dan the car is very cool but I have 2 questions for you
1) how will the foam hold up on the stop section that the car hits the end.I think the best track stop section.
2) is the foam that much lighter then balsa

Yes I do get what your saying priority a little...........So of a single track was used for two events and set at different heights if you had a car it will run different times at the two events

PWD Dude there is nothing wrong with a post race inspection either.....I don't think people who win maybe once out of the five cub years win really cheat.it's the dad that have to have the trophy that do.............We have done very well at our troop level so we are talked about as well so I know h...

I have to agree with sdupont1.no harm no foul as long as the material can be removed to show you have the right wheel you should be allowed to use a padding or dampening material......................pack529holycross I don't see how this could be called a moving part.I'm sure the foam would be tight...
