Re: Any one making Beta Craft track sections

This is the original company that made those track sections. They don't list the sections on their website, but maybe they still have a few collecting dust on a shelf.

Re: Any one making Beta Craft track sections

scoutshop.org used to sell those sections, but it seems that they no longer do. Not sure anyone sells that anymore. Anyways, why such a long track? The challenge with such a long track is that it makes it harder for the slower cars to finish. It is disheartening for a child to build a car and then i...

Re: Car Alignment Video

While the video has some good educational content, it really looks like an advertisement for a tool. So, the topic is being moved to a more appropriate section of the forum.

Car First Aid Kit

I put together a Car First Aid Kit, as I call it, many years ago. It has come in handy so many times in trying to get cars to cross the finish line. I keep it handy as we are testing cars down the track, before racing begins. Any car that doesn't finish or has a lot of trouble finishing will get a t...

Re: Track and Timer for sale

Track plating that you attach to a wooden sub structure. Might be best if you have an older wooden track that you want to rehab.

What brand is the timer? Photos would be helpful.

Good job to racers and the crew! We've been glad to see races getting back going, especially since so many were cancelled this last year. Next year should be even better.

Re: Racing display feature request

That feature is there, but it is really really difficult to get it to work perfectly for every monitor setup and number of lanes. The more lanes there are, the harder it gets. I spent hours trying to get that feature working perfect.

Re: Squaring the Block

If you have a table saw, you could square up the block with that. Use the bottom of the block to reference off of. If not and you are drilling axles holes, then again make sure to use the block as the reference plane for drilling. If you are not drilling axle holes, then I would not worry about out ...
