Re: USB to Serial Adapters
Isn't it about high time that timer manufacturers included a USB interface? There will never be a USB Judge, because most customers want to be at the start gate with the computer, so that they can be conversant with the folks setting the cars, rather than shouting the length of the track. The USB s...

Re: The Judge Electronic timer FOR SALE
Sorry I did not see this post earlier, but if you would help to make this unit into a 3 lane with 3.5" spacing, I will do so for $20. Just send the Judge itself and the illuminator assembly.

Space Derby Timer
I miniaturized The Judge into a box the size of a cell phone, and installed it in the center of a one inch aluminum angle. The finish order lights are an order of magnitude brighter than the Pinewood Judge. It is designed specifically to replace the horizontal bar of the BestTrack Space Derby http:/...

Update on my shakey start at making a spaceship: Originally, my design was like a baseball bat, heavy in the front. When I simply attached the carrier, the ship was seriously nose-heavy. This put a lot of friction on the forward loop, putting the brakes on. Also, my ship was generally pretty heavy. ...
