Re: Another car with progress pictures
I think we'll go to one of the hobby shops and see if we can get "bark" for the logs so they look unprocessed. We have a few more details to put on the car hauler. Why not use tree branches for the logs on the log hauler.. just an  Whoda, I wonder what the record is for longest Pine...

Re: Another car with progress pictures
My younger boy made a train engine for his car last year, and we made a coal car and a caboose to go with it. At the time, that was all we had time to do. Since then he's been bugging me to create some new cars for his train, so now that our pack derby is over for this year we started a few more ca...

Re: Another car with progress pictures
drathbun, Wow! These Hot Wheels inspired cars are cool! Like you I find all types of elect wire to really come in handy for alot of the details. And it's easy for the kids to use and work with as well. I ran across a Hot Wheels car the other day I really took a liking to it's shape. Been thinking it...

jmalsa, Nice job on all of the cars.
I like it when my cars get staged backwords also..
You can't win them all.. but at least you still go home with the best trophy.
The car and the memory of makeing it and shareing it with the kids.

Is it just me.. or is my eyesight getting bad guys? I've watched the video just once and I can see that the back wheels are much larger the front wheels. OR at least thay shure look to be when you pause the video at just the right time. Stan, nailed the CM up high in the car along with a few other p...

Re: They should do away with the slots
Sporty, Now this is a good topic! Like you said useing the slots are an alignment nightmare. And if one of these slots happens to brake while in a race. There is only so much you can do to fix it at that time anyway. Glue it back on or in the slot, Or drill a hole for the axel. Like you I wish the B...
