Axle Sizes
Re: Axle Sizes
Axle sizes vary from kit to kit.
B.S.A. axles are around .086"
Pine Pro and Pine Car axles are around .088"
Awana axles are .092"
Watch you rules, you will more than likely need to use a kit type axle and thay can be purchased cheaply from a scout shop or hobby store.
I have not looked at the home supply stores myself.

Re: Axle Sizes
Every set of derby rules that I've seen has required that the standard wheels and axles be used. There might be an exception for "anything goes" races for adults (where the only rule is that it can't damage the track), but for anything else, stick with the standard kit.RACER X wrote:Watch you rules, you will more than likely need to use a kit type axle
