CSB Shape n Race Kit

We had our race today and my boys did pretty well. We took 1st for style on both cars and 2nd for speed on one. To be fair there is only around 28 cars and we should have taken first in speed also.
I couldnt get the axels in straight ($40 drill press)
I was wondering if anyone has tuned these type kits.
The Axels are much better than the stock BSA nails but I don't like the bodies they handout.(they're pre-shaped) I would like to buy some tools from the online retailers but don't know if they will work with our wheels and axels.
