Paint help please?

I'm using Kostom Kolor spray paint. My local hobby shop carries paint masks
for lexan body rc cars. They have some that are on a 5x5 sheets. Flames of coarse. How long should I wait before using the mask. I have used them with krylon paint after about a week. I know they have a light adhesive baking to them so it doesn't gum up things.
