I finally got around to hunting up a link for the "profiles" stuff we talked about.
It's not the best tutorial that I've ever seen, but it's better than anything I've come up with.
I think I'll look at a fairly simple fender and see how it goes. Technically, I see it pretty clearly, but it's still going to take some thought to get the curves "looking right".
