Seems like you could take the same concept of the block/sb and apply it to this jig. Don't use the screws but just add a drill bit or pin to the one side to lift it and clamp down like in your picture. Then you don't have to mess with leveling 2 screws.

I think you're right. The Block has a groove that the pin fits in if I looked at the pics of it correctly. This tool doesn't have a groove so one would have to know what size pin to use.
