Iphone 5 weight

Post by having_wandered »

So I see the Iphone 5 is coming in at 112 grams. Think that is still going to be too hefty to send down the track. Was thinking an iphone paired with that 360 degree lens from Kogeto would be a lot of fun. Plus 14 grams for wheels and axels leaves 17 grams for car body AND however much that Dot lens weighs. Hmm maybe another solution will come along one day.

If you don't need to make calls, then you could use an iPod Touch. They're lighter than the iPhone, but have most of the same features other than connecting to the cell network.

Is this for making a car's eye view movie? For fun or for scientific purposes? Would love to see the phone car and movie when its done!
