Here's my guitar car for the 2014 Awana Grand Prix (or "guicar", but that's just too dorky ;) ):

Thanks all, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and believe me I was trying to figure out how to add strings but I really couldn't think of how to do the tuning posts.

For my son's guitar car we used small brass nails for the turning posts and fishing line for the strings.

Nicely done! Looks like you also made a nut and a bridge or at least figured out how to attach to the saddle,
