Nerdette

Post by Laserman »

Hi Sporty and Whoda,

Things have been busy lately, but not so much so that I have no time for my favorite puzzle.

Gentlemen...

It is my pleasure to present to you the very glamorous (and nearly finished)

Nerdette!

That's extremely interesting looking. Not that any of your builds have been anything else... ;)

It looks like you have a 'full circle' wheel weight on one side and a 'semicircle' on the other? What's the reasoning behind that? Biasing weight towards the DFW side? Also, the fenders (and DFW axle insert) appear to be some kind of plastic? Do tell!

Hi VK,

I see that you have been making friends over on the league forum.

LOL!!!

You should consider joining my posse.

We could use a scrappy guy like you!

Thanks for fixing the photo Nick.

You are correct VK. I am using the wheel weights to balance the weight on the rear wheels.

Nerdette has 3D printed weight pockets/ axle holes as well as 3D printed fenders and shields.

[Edit by gpraceman: Link removed. Should be posted in the Derby Products and Services forum]

This is the place to get some of the gear that is on the ever vivacious Nerdette.

Thanks guys,
Joe

Joe,

If you are looking to sell products, you should review the rules for merchants at http://www.derbytalk.com/faq.php?mode=rules#f0r1. Advertising for your products should be done in the Derby Products and Services forum.

Ummm.
Has anyone seen an expert builder, with a playful way of spelling certain words, around here?
