BSA Derby Track across America

Post by Speedster »

GOOD ONE !!!!
It's Great to see they are getting it started on April 1st. My team has got ours started. It will be a "Hershey Bar" type design. We are using 2" x 4' x 14' planks.
We wish everyone who is attempting this the Very, Very Best.

I do think that if they made it less far fetched, it would have been a better April Fools joke.

The car's are to be 180'' inches in length ( = to 9 feet) and 48,000 ounces..
And there asking how to stop them at the end of the track !

To give you an idea on the size the car would be close to ..

California is due for another earthquake. That might help lift the western end of the track high enough to produce the needed slope. ;)
