Derby Talk is Moving

Sometime this evening (10/9/2007) I will be taking Derby Talk down so it can be moved to a new server. It shouldn't be down for long.

The move is complete. It was not without problems (a ton of data to transfer).

Looks like the members's Avatars (except yours) are now missing.
Do we need to reload them ourselves?

I thought I had everything ready to go last night, but it turned out that I was missing a bunch of data and the avatars (which you pointed out). Hopefully, it will be quite a while before I need to move the site to a different server.

Spell Check seems to be on the fritz, at least for me.
I get a "page not found" error when I try to run it.

I tried an extra little security measure, but this broke the spell check. It is working now.

There's been some growing pains with the new server. Yesterday, I completed an upgrade which will hopefully keep the server from getting overloaded. If the server can take the January load, then it should skate through the rest of the year!
