I do not expect any communication until late next week. They said it would be two weeks more before they ship and it has not been one week yet.

Well I just heard it will be here by October 7th. WOW this is late!
But I think Gary will send a fantastic track. Our next event will be October 15th so all should be okay in the end.

Its a toy / tool I would rather report an honest report of the good the bad and the ugly. I have all the faith in the world it will be a FANTASTIC asset to our pack long after I am gone.

Rather then throw Gary under the bus because his summer went really bad as far as production I want to see the product first.

So I hope to be reporting on the delivery and how it lives up to the reputation of quality he is known for.

After reading these posts, I'm getting an uneasy gut feeling :eee: because we ordered a 40 foot Freedom track about three weeks ago. But since our annual race is in January, I'm praying that it'll be OK  We just ran our "used car" race using our old home-made wooden track last Wed.
I rather wait for Piantedosi to fix their machining problems and have a great track than rushing them and getting a so-so track.

But still, their reputation and integrity is built on their promises and actions. I think they should be up front and tell us "like it is" :!: I can wait, but don't tell me that it will be shipped in three weeks knowing that it's probably not going to happen.

Hope your track comes soon Frog
Mine too

I agree 1,000,000,000,000% rather have a perfect track then a make ready.

Their reputation for quality is what is keeping me in the fold well that and I built the box and bought a timer oh and gave my word.

Well at least you got them to give you a date. I'm still waiting on them to contact me to tell me a date. That was supposed to be 2 weeks ago for them to contact me and our track was to be ready last week. Ha Ha!

This is something more than equipment problems and they need to be up front about it. My patience is wearing thin. I have people to answer to also. I can't set a date for our Grand Prix with any confidence that we will have a track. I placed my order June 24, 2005. It is now Oct. That is well beyond the 3 to 4 weeks that they claim.

I have noticed they continue to change their Web site periodically with a proposed price increase.

Hey guys,

I just emailed Piantedosi concerning their credibility and accountability.

I even included a link to this forum thread for them to personally reply

We all agree that their track quality is not the issue, just their customer service is needing a tune-up :sigh:

I just ordered our 40' Freedom three weeks ago, so I really watching what happens to you guys

Praying for good news,
Dave

P.S.
Frog, I guess I need to find a place to store this 8 foot box :D

They have had a link to this thread for weeks but thanks for letting them know people are watching.

I got a call letting me know they were going to send the small parts today and the track soon. I said please make sure it is all correct rather then make ready. Diane agreed then this today! At 25 pounds that has to be more then small parts. HOORAY!

Well the small box of parts came today no track, no call, no tracking number. I did tell her that I would rather not have a rush job so I hope next week I will see the track parts.
