Big Blue Monster

Post by Pack38dad »

Just wanted to show off our track. It has a massive 6 ft drop to build speed. It may be a wooden track, but it is smooth as glass and FAST.

The guy in the first picture built it and painted it. It has a first class automotive grade finish on it. (He does body work for a living...)

The second picture kinda shows you just how high the drop is. Notice the guy is standing in a chair! LOL.

BTW, my son's car would have been in this picture, but it was in lane four... the car that is already out of view

Oh, and I know this is off subject, but you should see our Raingutter Regatta "track". LOL.
There's nothing wrong with lead. I ate a ton of it as a child and I turned out ok!!!!

Looks beautiful.
Any idea how he finished it?
Sealer? Enamel Paint? Clear Coat(s)?

I'll get the info next time I run into him. He's not with the pack anymore, but he brings the track to our pack and district race.
