I've thought that the self-aligning trunk lid clasps might work well in that application. They are strong and the tolerances are pretty good. If so, then they would make for very fast setup! But, I've not tried to locate any or test 'em. Is that what your are using in the new track? Or are you using "clamps"? (The critical letter was missing!)
