Just a heads up for people purchasing a new track.
I am expecting my new Piantedosi aluminum track in the next two weeks for our Cub Scout Pack 78 in Orlando, FL. Thanks to all who contributed the great information on this forum! It really helped in my selection.
Back to topic. I wanted to get a status on the order so I went to the web page and found all references to Piantedosi Oars was gone and the address and phone number listed was for MicroWizard. My wife called them and they told her that they only handle new orders and outstanding orders are still being handled by Piantedosi Oars. We were able to contact Piantedosi and our track should be shipping soon.
I could not find any information online regarding this new business arrangement. I don't know if MicroWizard is taking over the Pinewood Derby Track line from Piantedosi or just marketing and sales. If anyone can explain any details of this transition, please post here. I am sure others are curious about this as well.
