I am certain that this information may have been posted previously, but I am not certain. I am wanting to learn a bit about what the most ideal hardware set up would be for using Race Replay. We have BESTRACK/K3/GPRM setup. Getting used video camera hardware is pretty cheap, especially if the sole purpose is to use it for data capture.
Type of camera
POV location
Angle of attack on finish line
Projection of replay image
Thank you in advance for this information.

Re: Race Replay Hardware suggestions
I'd recommend using a DV video camera with a FireWire connection to the computer. That gives the best video quality and is more trouble free than going through a USB video capture device. The drawback is that FireWire cable length is limited (15 ft at most), so you need the computer to be closer to the finish line.
