GPRM 7 group registration question.

Post by Buckeye »

I would like a suggestion on how to setup groups for the district race.

We run the Ranks separately every 2 hours with the exception of the Webelos which we combine for racing purposes only. We still separate the Webelos 1 & 2 for awards and report purposes. I setup each rank as a group and use their Pack # as a subgroup. We track Pack results for an overall Team(Pack) trophy.

We also run a Grand Final with the fastest 8 cars after all the Rank races.

How can I race the 2 Webelos ranks together as a group and still separate them for award and reporting purposes? I also need to be able to generate an overall standings report for all the Ranks combined. Last year we ran separate races for each Webelos rank to get the desired results. The Webelos 2 rank usually has 35 to 40 boys and the Webelos 1 have around 50. We run each car once in each of the 8 lanes and would prefer to combine the Webelos into one race.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could setup a subgroup for Webelos I and one for Webelos II. For every other group, just create a subgroup with the same name as the group (e.g. Group=Tiger, Subgroup=Tiger).

If you want to enter Pack#, put that in the field that is usually used for car name. You can also rename that field to be "Pack". You won't be able to do any reporting in the software on pack, but you can export the data and make a custom report if needed.
