Two Packs - Combined Racing

Post by Spark1815 » Sun Feb 02, 2014 11:38 pm

This year we are combining two packs and we would like to comingle the Packs but be able to track: Top 4 cars overall; Top 4 cars in each Pack, Top 3 in each Pack/den.

So I am thinking about a 1 group with subgroups Packxxx an PackXXX. Then using the cubscout lastname - Tiger, Firstname; cubscout Firstname - Wolf, Firstname etc. to sort the dens.

Has anyone else tried to comingle two Packs but separated the den results?

Thank You

Are you trying to race all of the scouts in one big race group or run by ranks?

You can setup a subgroup for each rank and use the Custom Field for the Pack#. Usually, the Custom Field is used for the car name, but you can change the labeling for that field in the Software Options screen.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll give that a try next year. (Didn't make it back to the forum in time.)
Had a successful race today with both Packs. Tried RaceReplay and had some issues with it freezing and locking up the computer. We'll send more details later. The audience thought the replay was a great addition.
