Compression software recommended

Post by rookie20 »

Our cub group just purchase a new web camera HD Pro Webcam C920, and was wondering if anyone has this camera and what video compression they would recommend. I have turn on the h.264 compression in Video replay menu and are currently using the compression recommended in the help files for Race replay. Video file size is not an issue as we just purchased a laptop with a 1TB hard drive and I assume after our races are over we will be deleting the video files.
Any help would be appreciated

The Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2 gives decent video quality and file size. RaceReplay will try to install that codec pack when you install the software.
