I am interested in what other packs and coordinators have done to reduce the time between heats. I would like to get the efficiency closer to the heat times we have for Pinwood Derby. Has anyone mastered this? If so, what have you done?
I would like to run a heat once every 45-60 seconds. We have automated winders but still had problems this year.

Our troop has the boys scout help the kids stage there cars and before they race the racer have to move down to the finish line to pick up there car WHILE there calling the next set of racers. It's a little hectic but the boy move fairly quickly after the first race.

We have our first space derby next month (March). In the words of the den leader, "..it's total chaos..." but if I see anything that may help, I will be happy to post.
