Tucker's Hulk

Post by shawnr5 »

My nephew Tucker wanted an Incredible Hulk car. He wanted a green body and purple fenders with 3-d Hulk stickers. This is what we came up with.

We're still looking for a Hulk figure to use for a driver.

I just cut it and sprayed the green. He and his dad sanded it, purpled it, epoxied it and decaled it. We're still looking for a Hulk figure to use as a driver. I think I found one, but Tucker's going to have to bend his arms to get him under 2 3/4" wide.

That's a really cool looking car. Check with your local Walmart or Kroger bakery they usually will sell you the kits they decorate cakes with and they may have the perfect size hulk.

Thanks, derbymom. Great suggestion. I found a SuperHero Squad Hulk for him. We'll mount it on the car after his races so we don't have to account for the weight.

Here's Hulk in ready to race form and my brother's Spiderman Panel truck.

It's patterned after a Hot Wheels I had in my garage. Brett painted the bare wood with craft paint and brushed on a coat of 20 minute epoxy as a clear coat.

Tucker came in 2nd. Now, we have to mount the Hulk figure's torso on the car as a driver.

I guess the alignment was a little off. It ran considerably better backwards than forwards.
