Four Peaks District Car Photos Up

Post by rcmoeur »

We used the same photo box as we did for the Pack 242 photos (in the other discussion).

Pleased to see many very creative cars.

All the event info (including event photos & results) can be seen at
http://www.grandcanyonbsa.org/event/1294447

And if you want to skip to the actual car photos, those are at:
http://www.richardcmoeur.com/4pdpwd2013.html

Hope ya like 'em!

Great looking cars. I see Bob Weaver couldn't quite catch you, Richard. By the look of his car I think he was seriously trying. So, what made your car so fast and how far behind you was he?

Bob's car had an extended wheelbase, so it raced in "Plummet" instead of "Stock".

The Plummet rules allow extended wheelbases, and waive the rules on car length and staging entirely behind the pin. Mine was... a bit... more extended. ;)

The track: 32' (nominal) 4-lane aluminum 'Freedom' track provided by Pack 918.

My favorite is the black Porsche-like car!
