Here is a car I started on just today at around 8:00 O'Clock.. it's now 12:00 midnight.
I thought I'd try to do something a little differen't as far as makeing thin body car.
Been's how I'm alway's makeing cars that look like.. well car's and truck's of all types.
Anyhow I thought I'd try to do up a Scroll Saw Inspirations design car.. If you will.
I'm hopeing that you guys will like what you see ?
From the car thats all pinewood just to show a little scroll saw inspiration.
For the first time.. "Going Tribal" with the scroll saw doing a little fretwork.

Holy cow man! That's a lot of hard work and attention to detail ya got there. I really like the design, and the fret work extending into the fenders! Aerodynamic drag may be a bit of a concern from a practicality standpoint, but as far as pure design goes, that's about as intricate as it gets!

I was thinking of just useing some clear packing tape on the car and fenders.
And maybe an inkjet printer water slide decal of some kind over the tape.
Surf Shop style decal of some kind..
So that it would look transparent and that the scroll saw fretwork could also be seen threw the decal.

I'm gona have to look into getting some clear Monokote for the next car like it.

Scrollsawer, how well do you think that puffy paint would fill in the fretwork..
And look threw the clear Monokote for a little bit of that stained glass look as well.
Just an I might have to try looking at some time.

Mark I have about 1/8 in between the raised front wheel and track as well as between bottom of fender and track. Should be enough clearance for both right?

And here you go for that stained glass look useing some glitter glue to fill in the fretwork.
I found some white glitter glue that glows in the dark.


Not my best work so far with this look.. so it's dry time and fill in some more.

Seth, the raised wheel.. just my way of saying watch out for speed bumps on the track.
