Air Commander 2 & 1 more.

Post by sporty »

Folks, Kids, , Mom and dads,

I decided the other day, To Honor a Vendor. www.DerbymonkeyGarage.

I always thought since his site started. It was kid friendly and geared towards scouts.

And his logo, image, just feels so scout, youth focused.

So, I built two cars.

Not kits.

R/c monokote, and decals.

Air Commander 1, had the fenders thinner, not as wide as Air Commander 2.

Also Air Commander 2 has a bit different wheel base, front back a little farther compared to stock bsa block axle slots.

Sporty, very nice. I am guessing you are not putting weight in all these cars (unless you just came into a nice inheritance ;) )

I remember showing a girlfriend Sporty's cars and she asked the same thing (about the tungsten).

When I told her that Sporty often demolishes his cars to retrieve the valuable parts she was horrified.

I've tossed many cars..
But I had about two pounds of tungsten at one time.

I can still do 9/ 10 cars with weight. Which is all in use. I can do two cars yet, weighted.
I want to save the weight for my test cars. Just tape and go.
