K,

How about a Eco-Semi.

I got decals to put on yet and clear coat and weight.

Just vinyl covering over the balsa, that's why some of the edges look wavy or not real nice.

Nothing super fancy, made out of balsa, except pine frame. Simple one.

6 hour build.

8 hours at this point, minus weight and wheel and axle prep.

I think this is more typical of a scout level build, not much bells and whistles. But perhaps nice enough to appeal to a scout to make. I don't know.
Im sure they see the fancy rigs, but then see how many hours it takes to make it look nice.

It gives the parents, I guess a range of hours spent, with what awesome is and decent is,.

Wow Sporty!
I like your Idea here and the shapeing on this Eco-Semi truck..
It's a differen't type of semi truck and it's cool looking as well.

Have you seen the Super-Streamed lined trucks from MAN?

I've seen some semi tucks in Wal-mart from the Hot Wheel's toys that look alot alike it.
This one might be a fun one to build sometime.

there our several really amazing semi trucks out there, I seen 3 designs that really caught my eye.

But looked pretty hard to build.
