Don’t know why I typed 250 guess I was thinking 5 rolls of 50 would be closer to 25 oz.

sounds like you and I are in the same boat
When it comes to testing the truck threw a curve.

The longer the truck is the more the wheels need to be closer to each end.

Just some thoughts.
Best track sells a 2 lane curve for $72.00 which includes shipping.

My rear wheels are 1 5/8" from the back of the truck. My truck uses a 1/2" board for the base. That doesn't help the front and is not necessary but it helped the back. I was able to angle the rear up so it would clear the curve. There is a 3 3/8" width limit. I could easily have widened the rear behind the rear axle and kept the rear height 1/4" lower. I could then have cut a piece of wood at an angle and made the back look like it had a wing. That's just one idea. I'm sure racers will come up with many more. Learning is Fun.
