Re: Lester Racing Website
Even if a unit's rules doesn't allow pre-cut bodies, there are some neat design ideas at http://lesterracing.weebly.com/, and it is impressive to see what is possible with this technology. Everyone should check it out.
One thought regarding the site. Can units of weight be provide in ounces as well as grams? Weight and weight limits tend to be advertised in ounces, causing a few of us to still figure our weight budgets in those units. Also, we sometimes hear stories where someone inexplicably ends up with car that is off its targeted weight; I've often wondered if it might be due to a units-conversion mistake somewhere along the way by its builder...

That is a good idea and I had intended to do it, but just have not had time!!FatSebastian wrote:Even if a unit's rules doesn't allow pre-cut bodies, there are some neat design ideas at http://lesterracing.weebly.com/, and it is impressive to see what is possible with this technology. I will put the equivalent in ounces on there soon. Even the heavy ones are pretty light!
By the way, I am not trying to promote anything here......just agreeing with what mr FatSebastian is saying!

We also do custom work, so let me know if you are interested in something not shown on the site.
Andy did some custom work for our upcoming Toyota/Scion Corporate Pinewood Derby that is being held by our district tomorrow. Like he said, Andy can do almost anything with his laser and a block of wood. These pics are of the company I work for, our friend Jay works for, and one that has a perfect replication of the Scion logo. Check them out:Sounds good! Now get them built and post some photos! Re: Lester Racing Website
In an effort to make our website more accessible and user friendly, we have upgraded to a new domain. http://www.lesterracing.net" target="_blank will take you to the same site, but the name will be much easier to remember.
Also, some easier to find contact information is located in the header of each web page. Now everyone can get a hold of us easier!
