Hello my name is Craig, I'm an aerospace pattern maker by trade. My dad had a machine shop when I was growing up so I learned to use all the tools and used them to make pinewood derby cars. When my first born was 5 years old we entered into an awana grand prix race. I have my own shop with several CNC machines so I designed a car in CAD and had my daughter program it. She loved programming it and running our CNC router. This got me thinking, how can I bring that excitement for manufacturing to other kids and parents. I've just launched a website and have free video tutorials teaching how to get started in CNC manufacture of pinewood derby models using hobby CNC engraving machines on ebay.

I've just started but I have many new models and tutorials in the works so check back often and share and subscribe on my youtube channel and facebook. Currently I'm working on a new VAN collection including a certain black van with a red wing ;) Let me know what you think and feel free to ask questions or drop requests on my site. Your support helps me continue to grow the site thanks. Here is a promo video.

Also of interest to those that do fun run races or outlaw races, we have info on creating your own custom pinewood derby wheels. This really sets off a model. Here is a link and a music video of creating a wheel.
