Big mistake
It was in a district race some time ago. I dont know if all districts do this but that year there were two tracks and the two first placers got to race for grand champion. I was one them! But I could berly reach the top of the track and accidently put my car on crooked. I lost that one and ever since I have been looking for ways to make sure I put my cars on strait. Any ideas?

It is the responsibility of the race organizers to make the scouts tall enough to stage their cars correctly. Some use a short step ladder, an apple box, or an orange crate. Some are more elaborate:
Some propose devices to help, and some organizations require "staging by eye."
