Other uses for NyOil II

This year we tried out NyOil II as the lubricant on our cars and it worked rather nicely. On a whim, I tried this out on the slide bolt that holds our start gate closed and found that it made the bolt much easier to pull open. With the easier pull, there is less possibility that the track would get jerked around and disturb the cars. I guess I could have also applied it to the hinges of the gate, but that thought just occurred to me.

What other uses of NyOil are there for this type of racing? Since you only need a few drops per car, it seems a shame not to get some more use out of that bottle; otherwise it will last forever (then MaxV will not get repeat sales ).

I would think you could use NyOil II anywhere that you need a light machine oil around home: locks, fans, motorized toys, sewing machines, etc.

These fluorinated PTFE oils have been used in space for years. Camera lenses, respirator equipment, autos due to its high and low temperature range. I'm trying a bike lube called SB-10 from Italy. This stuff was invented by Dupont years ago but I expect the patents have lapsed allowing Nye Lube to make their own version. Cross country skiers are using it for cold conditions.... The Dupont trade name is Krytox.
