When did Awana start selling there kits in the 8 car boxed sets.. like Beta crafts & B.S.A. did years back.

I'v only seen the Awana's kits as a single kit in a plastic bag!
Is this something new Awana is doing or have they also been offering there kits in boxed sets of 8.

I've been running Awana races for 18 years now and they've always had the 8 kit sets during that time.

I never knew that Awana offered there Grand Prix Race Kits in boxed sets of 8 also!

However I did note the plastic bags for distributing the cars were included in there 8 car boxed kit.
Maybe that's why I have only seen there Grand Prix kits in plastic bags.
Guess this something about the different club's kit's types I can now share with kids in my PWD History display.

Now to get one of there 8 car boxed sets to do so!

The box comes with all the parts for 8 kits and plastic bags. You have to bag up everything into individual kits.

As a kid in Awana's club
I never payed much attention to how the kits were un-boxed !
But that's been years back since I was in Awana's.. and that I can recall seeing the kits passed out in the plastic bags.


I placed an order for the 8 car box set to add to my collection and kit history display.
