Cheapest Gas in Your Area

Post by gpraceman »

With the cost of gas going up as it is, here's an article about AAA's cheapest gas finder for your area. Just type in your ZIP code to get a list of stations and their prices.

Gas goes up $.10 overnight and it takes a week to go down $.05.

I thought about trying one of these. www.smartusa.com They have some cool 2 tone paint jobs and also available in convertable.

I saw one around town a couple weeks ago , Lady said it got around 50 mpg.

Or try one of these www.harleydavidson.com

I sold my Harley in '72. I finally got tired of all those people in LA County trying to kill me. :x My Corolla gets mileage like my Harley did, and I'm out of the weather. [/old man]

It might be good to test drive one before you buy. Coworkers have commented that they're so underpowered that they really had to rev the engine to keep up with normal everyday traffic. In the end, they didn't get any better mileage than a 4-seat subcompact.

I know a guy that bought the tiny car. He seems happy with it, and told me that he gets around 40 mpg. I would like to have a car like that, but it would have to be a secondary.
Oh yeah, we finally sunk below $3 per gallon fuel today here in S.C., so now I feel better in the GMC.

That video was wild, lucky he did not loose control and hurt anyone.

The endo was wild.

I like those 3 cylinder stick geo/chevy metros. they could get as much as 50-61 miles per gallon. depending on how you drove it.

So those are cars to get used and cheap.

Not so much a highway car, but around town.

$3.24 here and close by $2.99

Connecticut normally has some of the highest prices in the country. 2 days ago I paid $2.96. this morning I saw $2.85 at a "no name" gas station. $2.99 is very common.

Gas is still about 3.25 here in California, where I am- but it's usually higher than anywhere else because of state sales tax. I suspect that the guys manipulating the market are getting out of the biz after the Feds announced they were going to investigate. But somebody got rich off the American people yet again, in the meanwhile.
