What is the make of the Timer and does it show Elapsed time without a computer?

Speedster, I believe all the timers show elapsed time. You only need computer, cable, ... if you are wanting to run race management software.

A valid question. Some timers only show finish order with either a numeral display or different flashing rate of LEDs.

It is a Micro Wizard timer that shows Elapsed times without a computer so I will assume it is a K-3 timer. Cost new is $375 plus shipping. A 42' , 2 lane Best track, cost $555, $107 shipping for a total of $662.

The K-3 timer new comes with a plug for electricity. Also available is a Power Pack that holds 6 - C cell batteries and costs $8.00. I like the Power Pack. One less wire to deal with and you can use the track anywhere. The K-3 also comes with a connection to plug into a computer.
