Here is a rack I built a couple of years back that could be used as an overnight storage, or transport from room to room case. It can hold up to 50 cars (or 100 cars unfolded, for the race). It folds in half to transport in the back of my minivan.
It has 10 cars on a row so it is easy for the garage volunteers to find and put away the numbered cars. Here is a picture from the planning stages to see if I could store most cars in the case, closed:
Another of it in action, during a race, the rack is quick-clamped to the table so any jarring (mostly from anxious scouts trying to see their car) does not topple the whole case:
It has interchangeable flags for boy or girls scouts. There is also multiple American flags and all of the racing flags (my son usually has a one of the kids watching us setup help him add the flags to the car rack).

Andy & Noah,
Good to see you guys posting some more!
That is a really cool looking bulk car transport case.

What type of automobile can be spelled the same forwards & backwards?
Re: Bulk car transport
Wow, that is VERY nice!
Maybe I'll work on building something similar over Christmas break this year, just in time for our race in January.

PM me if you want a copy of the plans I drew, when I built my rack.
