Hey DT,

Shall I make a list of those of us who are running at the mid America? I think a list of screen names, real names and car names would be fun so we can ham it up on the online chat like last year.

So far I had seen:
me (Noskills)
Bird Dog
Knotthed
Resullivan
Scrollsawer
TX [no advertising for this vendor] and
Johnscooling
(Greg too but I am sure he will be too busy to chat on-line ;) )

NoSkills,

You're a Genius!

After a couple of years on this site, I finally understand this now........."[no advertising for this vendor]"

All thanks to TXDERBYD^D screen name.

Back to the subject at hand, I like the idea - I would like to see it in a new post though.

I have to admit. We are excited and nervous. This is our second event. So far we have won districts and the 1 event we entered. This will be our first non stock event with different wheel base and fenders. Can't wait. Wish best of luck to all and wish us luck. We have 3 cars going. Adult, bear and a webelo

We have gone over the 100 mark in terms of entries... I will try and compile a list for everyone to know who has a chance and post that soon... it will take some time to gather all the info from the entry database.. I have exactly when each entry came in and out of the first 100 - we will be drawing for a Best Track Test Track.

Yeah, I think I've discovered I want to change my name on the forum to avoid any confusion and not be mistaken for the person in question whom my handle seems to reference. :D

We will be broadcasting the races live... you will be able to watch the races live on this page http://www.midamericaderby.com/live-video

We plan on recording each race and then posting an edited version on you tube and on the http://www.midamericaderby.com

The editing will be a new experience for us but we feel that we have the resources and abilities to get that accomplished this year.

Greg I am aiming for just under 143 g per car with the last gram in putty. If we are over by a hair on your scale are you OK removing putty?
