Southwestern Connecticut Scouting Heritage Museum

The museum includes a collection of Pinewood Derby cars from Joe Gargiulo. I wish that they would have included a photo of the whole collection.
This car didn't win anything. So, why is it my prized possession? It's the Pinewood Derby car that I built with my dad.
That's what it should be all about!

Randy, Please check your email.

I've been talking to Joe Gargiulo and helping him out with some memorabilia as well.

Mark.

On November the 18th 2014,
I received an e-mail from Joe Gargiulo about the museum.

It had also been about 5 years since we've last talked and that I had shared
the Oct 1954 Boy's Life article along with few photos of my collection with him.

On Nov the 29th Joe shared a few photos of the PWD display with me
that he was working on with the museum still under construction.

The PWD display as of Nov the 19th:

Left side of the PWD display case:

What's really nice to see in the display is the story and the new's paper clipings
from the Los Angeles Pinewood Derby Championship's.. in the lower left of the case as well.

Right side of display case:
