Other PWD kits

Post by Noskills »

Hello all,

Question on other PWD kits on the market. My friend was invited to PWD and the photos from last year show cars with narrow wheels that look like 1950 PWD wheels. There might even be dowel acting as an axle but its hard to tell. They are not Anawan kits...any idea what kits these are.

Also I saw they some of these cars ran 2.5x on a 42 foot best track...they must be >5 oz right? These are not pro cars so perhaps a 10-12 oz car can pull off a time like 2.5x.

So if this is the case remind me of the "sweet spot" weight for unlimited cars...I recall 8 oz from other posts.

Thank you,
Seth
